Renpho

8 massage nodes
3 intensity levels
2 massage directions
Adjustable

Main features

Finishing our list is a neck and shoulder massager by Renpho. It is one of the most expensive and the largest device on our list, but that allows it to have some unique features; for instance, this device's massage heads (2) are adjustable. The bi-directional massage heads have four deep-acting nodes each. You can choose from three intensity levels, and the auto shut-off function will prevent overheating. One of the least attractive features of this massager is that it has to be held by the sleeves. On the other hand, such a design gives you the freedom to adapt this massager to all body parts. It even comes with an extra sleeve to put on the massage head to lower the intensity. Another significant disadvantage is that this massager works only plugged in. But to make matters better, it comes with a car adapter, so you can take it with you on car trips.

Design

This is definitely the largest device on our list; however, it is still possible to carry it around. Renpho offers a classic design with decorated PU leather in black and grey. On the inside, there are ergonomic massaging heads lined with breathable mesh fabric, but it can be covered with a soft sleeve that is included with the device. On one side the massager has a conveniently placed simple control panel and a cord extension. There are two adapters included—an AC adapter and a car adapter. They are both pretty long, so there shouldn’t be too much inconvenience to prevent from enjoying the massage.

Ease of use

The controls of Renpho self-massager are particularly simple. The little panel on one sleeve of the device includes four buttons. The top button turns the device on or off; the heat function turns on automatically after starting the massager. The buttons below switch the direction or speed of the nodes’ rotation. The bottom-most button allows you to turn off and back on the heat. Not so convenient aspects of using this device are the cable that has to be always plugged in and holding your hands in the sleeves of the massager. Overall, this gadget is simple but not too comfortable to manage.

🧘 Value

Being the second most expensive neck massager on this list, Renpho does offer quality and a variety of great features. However, its design lacks the convenience that we appreciate in other devices on this list. Again, if functionality and adaptability are the main criteria that you seek in an at-home massager, and you don’t mind spending some extra cash, this could be an excellent choice for you to consider.
